In 1972, Iran's nascent petrochemical industry needed a partner who could deliver the world's most demanding instrumentation packages on schedule, to spec, and to Western quality standards. Cameo was founded to be that partner.
Our first contract — the complete instrumentation package for Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex — established a working pattern we've kept for over fifty years: source from the best global manufacturers, manage the logistics ourselves, deliver against the Ministry of Oil's approved vendor list. We began in 1972 as the Iranian agent for Yokogawa and Foxboro and have since grown into one of the country's most experienced multi-product suppliers, sourcing from and collaborating with more than fifty global manufacturers across seven product categories.
Today Cameo supplies field instrumentation, industrial valves, piping and fittings, OCTG (casing and tubing), storage tank components, complete process packages, and Siemens industrial gas turbines. We hold Iran Ministry of Oil AVL membership number 88621 (registered nationally as 10100575095), and we have completed 72 named-client deliveries to the country's largest operators, EPCs, refineries and petrochemical complexes — including NIOC, NIGC, NPC, MAPNA Group, Petropars, IOEC, Bandar Imam Petrochemical, Amir Kabir, Maroun, Shazand, Bid Boland, the Ilam, Kermanshah and Isfahan refineries, and many more.
How we workProcurement in oil and gas is unforgiving. Specs are tight, lead times are long, certifications are non-negotiable, and a single late delivery can hold up an EPC contractor for weeks. Our role is to absorb that complexity for the buyer: identify the right brand and grade for the spec, secure stock or schedule production, manage international logistics and customs, and deliver to site against the AVL.
We do not manufacture. That is deliberate — it lets us choose the right brand for each application across more than fifty global manufacturers, rather than push our own product. When the spec calls for Yokogawa, we deliver Yokogawa. When it calls for ArcelorMittal or TPCO, we deliver those. We are accountable to the buyer, not to a factory.
